Then we enter the "Age of the Celebrity Chef" and take foodie on Vegas and Michelin stars. Apparently chefs err on the side of innovation with fossilized Mongolian horse dung. There are also cupcake vending machines. Solid Cat is proud to be part of Nerdpocalypse. There is a bridal shower recap, a bit of Fair Play, and does Val's hair look like George Washington's? Some days were funny; other days were just chatty. This may be one of those "other" days. But hey, this is Solid Cat. Solid Cat: 79 - Overindulgence Solid Cat Podcast straps on the feedbag and eats up on this week's episode. Joined again by Big Daddy Dave, D-mo and Dave recall their visit to Las Vegas where they ate across town. It was quite the culinary tour. In the return of the Space Cowboy Kitchen, D-mo and Val review the Chocolate Cake Shake. We have some frozen hot chocolate. And we talk salsa. Solid Cat: 76 - Fo Shizzle This week's Solid Cat Podcast is shooting wildly in all directions. Smug L.A. D-mo brags about the weather, while Val has poor aim. Margarita bars make kiddie birthday parties soooo much better. D-mo unloads on ghetto-talk, while Val is the glue that keeps this show together (which is ironic in its own way). Random tangents rule on this week's Slumber Party of Podcasts. D-mo is cussing a lot today, Siri's Poetry Slam returns, and what is Shia LeBeouf doing? Solid Cat: 75 - International Incident This week, Solid Cat, the Slumber Party of Podcasts, is also the International Podcast of Mystery. We highlight the use and irony of t.A.T.u.'s music for the Russians during the Sochi Olympics. We have a non-English speaker from Greece, with no concept of American Football, adeptly call out that the Broncos blew, and we learn why D-mo rooted for the Seahawks. We toss a #historyjoke. Saucy Siri returns to the show and we wonder if she's American or Chinese, her unedited answer will surprise you. The CW is full of pretty people. In Celebrity Death Corner, we learn the method actors are hardcore... dangerously so. Our mottos: "Adventure awaits," and "There's no such thing as 'pot-committed.'" We drop some sound Vegas gambling advice. We learn real names of real people. We tell you how we got our new phones for free. And now, Solid Cat is on Pinterest... and whatever that entails. Oh, and did we mention Solid Cat's Senior Entertainment Correspondent, Matrice, is back on the show? Well, she is. Solid Cat: 74 - Moose Knuckle On this week's Solid Cat, we welcome a saucy Siri as a regular part of the show. We may do a spin-off called Saucy Cat. IS THE POPE A VAMPIRE?!?! #hotpope Marlee Matlin will not be Peter Pan. What does "Solid Cat" mean? "I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to lions, too." The NHL Stadium Series at Dodger Stadium was a hit. We talk Celtic Complexion, the band Keane, and skinny jeans on men. It's a moose knuckle, and not a gorilla nose. Blowdart attacks, and sociopathic media. We are now on RadioFubar. Val chews ice on air. We have the return of Sexytime, and get serious about acquaintance rape. There is a Phil Donahue reference, and favorite pick-up lines. Lastly we debate if childbirth really is the worst pain. We're all over the map and it's awesome. Solid Cat: 73 - No Pants Are The Best Pants Big Daddy Dave returns to this week's Solid Cat. We discover which one of our Guests have slept in the studio, and remind everyone it's important to have multi-cultural friends. Weather in California is awesome. D-mo was on another podcast, and this segued into a trip to the Dave Foley sitcom NewsRadio. We have more Top Round love. It's Cable Industry Talk with D-mo, Val, & Dave as we talk network apps and HBO GO password sharing. There is a "slightly haunted" house for sale. Ten biblical misconceptions. Dave brings goodies to the Space Cowboy Kitchen. D-mo isn't sure if he wants to deal with the Chinese government. Val brings Del Taco to Buffalo, and we finish off talking about airport food. Remember, no pants are, indeed, the best pants. Solid Cat: 72 - The Chivas Diatribe It's a fresh new take on Solid Cat, as we roll out new music across the podcast. And though, that may be the highlight, there is a full show waiting for you inside. Robot voices makes us seem less pompous. Val's the president of the Screen OVERactors Guild. We're teaching the daughter to dunk. We spotlight D-mo's "Arsenal of Freedom." Bizarre, random Simpsons reference. D-mo sings through awkward pauses to fill dead air. Solid Cat: 71 - with Special Guest, Big Daddy Dave It's the first Solid Cat of 2014, and today, Big Daddy Dave joins us in studio for a rowdy episode of the Slumber Party of Podcasts. We talk first world problems, and winter in Los Angeles. We take a tour of the Southwest, talking about Phoenix heat and being stranded in Utah. Watch out for fake donkey-meat snacks. We enjoy an impromptu MySpace retrospective. "Us eating on air doesn't make for good radio, but we're doing it anyway." And then we enjoy some Yelp reviews for a strip club. Trust us, this is one of our better shows.
