From Solid Cat: 70 - Big Lists
BOOZE REVIEW: Barcadi Ron Solara
a more fanciful rum

Val's Take:
Rummy. Expecting sweeter, but it's a warm rum. There is almost a hint of tobacco in it, maybe like it was in a smoked cask.

D-mo's Take:
It's a sipper. It doesn't burn, but it's toasty. The flavor is very mild. It's not my bag, but this is very good.

Review Verdict: (on a scale of 1-4 shots)
3 SHOTS!

BONUS
JERKY REVIEW: Oberto Applewood Smoked Bacon Jerky
yes, bacon jerky

Val's Take:
I think it's delicious. Slightly more smoky and meatier than regular bacon.

D-mo's Take:
Very tender for jerky. I think I might prefer this to real bacon. It's great for sandwiches.

Review Verdict: (on a scale of 1-4 jerks)
4 JERKS!

    BOOZE REVIEW: Session Premium Lager
from Full Sail Brewing in Hood River, OR

    Val's Take:
Whatever you think beer smells like... this smells like it. Reminds me of Amber Bock. Goes down a little warm. Good flavor that finishes a hair sweet.

    D-mo's Take:
Easy to drink. The flavor explosion that you feel is coming, never does. Feels a little bitter after while. This is beer that needs a big greasy slice of pepperoni pizza to accompany it. Very burpy.

Review Verdict: (on a scale of 1-4 shots)
    2 1/2 SHOTS!

REVIEW: Top Round Roast Beef restaurant
    specifically, their Beef on Weck

    Val's Take:
Amazing. The beef had a great flavor and was seasoned just right. It was sooo good... astonishingly good. I would drive to West L.A. just for that.

    D-mo's Take:
Unqualified awesomeness. Fantastic. It was like manna from heaven. The horseradish was potent but I loved it. Honestly, there is not enough positive adjectives to properly describe how good Top Round Roast Beef is.

Review Verdict: (on a scale of 1-4 buns)
    5 BUNS!
Yes, it surpassed our grading scale. It's that good.
